Twilight
Yes, we went and we had shirts made and made the guys stand in line without us with a bunch of Edward crazed women while wearing shirts that said, “I Killed Edward”–hilarious.
Thanksgiving
We had a great time at Crystal’s house even though Porter ended up in the Emergency room after knocking the back of his head on a coffee table while using a mattress as a slide. They glued it shut instead of using stitches so now he looks like he has a wad of gum stuck in his hair.
Primary Program
We were the proudest parents ever. Porter, the youngest in Primary, was the only one to memorize his part and know every word of all 11 songs with improvised arm and hand motions.
Balloon Fiesta
The most unique experience I’ve had in awhile. It was incredible being surrounded by huge balloons–I loved it!
Babysitting
We babysat my sister’s 3 boys while she and her husband enjoyed a week long cruise of the Mediterranean. It was very tiring, but went much better than I expected. Brigg was calling me “mama” by the end and I had a hard time passing him off to his grandma. We had a 4 year old, two 3 year olds, a 2 year old, an 18 month old, and an 8 month old (4 boys and Afton). Hannah gets the job in May when Russell and I go to Belize.
